True to the varietal and the region, this powerful, concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of juicy black cherries and Italian plums, seamlessly transitioning to flavors of ripe dark fruit. Its rich, fleshy texture, lengthy finish, and impeccable balance impart a regal maturity to this wine that belies its true age.
Inspired by the European travels of Robert Mondavi, this Meritage blend is rich and potent, yet elegant and complex. It is a collage of the five classic Bordeaux red varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. In the glass, it offers lavish dark plum, black cherry, and blackberry aromas along with a velvety texture and succulent mid-palate flavors.
Deep, dark and nearly opaque with a ruby edge, the 2007 Landslide offers up evocative aromas of chocolate laced with cinnamon, blackberry, plum, black cherry and exotic wood spice. On the palate, a velvety entry is followed by concentrated black cherry and red plum fruit accented with toffee. It finishes with a hint of roasted coffee. Supple tannins add depth and length. This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs beautifully with filet mignon with Cabernet mushroom suace or pan-roasted chicken with Swiss chard, pancetta and onions in creamy polenta.
Deep garnet with a ruby edge, our 2007 Sonoma County Merlot generously offers aromas of ripe red cherry, black plum, bright cranberry, clove, cinnamon, hints of cedar and toasty oak, followed by opulent flavors of red plum, cassis, and blackberry preserves that have been gently interlaced with clove. This medium-bodied wine is nicely structured and finishes with soft chocolate. We suggest pairing this Merlot with lasagna Bolognese, prime rib, or coq au vin.

On the Nose: beautiful interaction between the oak and the dark berries, black cherry and blackberry with touches of spices like pepper and lavender with hints of Kirch and marzipan.
On the palate: beautiful velvety start evolving on a nice acidity with raspberry jam and touches of blueberry lingering on ripe tarragon and thyme

On the nose: soft oak with touches of pipe tobacco balanced with dark fruit like blackberry cherry with ginger bread clover, cassis, strawberry, fresh plum, geranium, violet and lavender
On the palate: velvety entrance evolving on soft ripe tannis and dark chocolate with touches of cassis, crushed rock, blueberry, red currant, maple leaf, roses and cherry liqueur lingering on density, clay and freshly picked plum.
